It all begins with a change of major

I have always been an artistic person ever since grade school. I remember going up to my art teacher telling her that I would be an artist one day.

Well that day didn’t come that quick… Throughout middle school and High school I was convinced I wouldn’t be creative enough to be an artist and decided I’d go down the math and science route and become an engineer. When I got into Drexel I really tried to take engineering and class after class I realized it just wasn’t for me.

So I tried to turn to my inner child and just said I guess I’ll go back to art but not just any creative field. After doing research to see what I would like best and settled on graphic design. It was a little shaky at first I had to learn how to be creative again and just trust myself and Drexel not only taught me how to do that but taught me great work ethic.

Communication through design is something that I love and how it can influence people through marketing, stories, layouts and how it can touch someone’s perspective.

I love designing from my heart and trying to create something that creates strong communication through my art.
